Exness’s Pro Account is the ideal account type for scalping, offering trading with tight spreads and no transaction fees. While the spreads are slightly wider than those of the Low Spread/Zero accounts, the Pro Account has no transaction fees, so depending on the instrument, you may be able to trade at the lowest possible cost.
Exness’s Pro Account is the only professional-type account featuring low spreads that allows you to trade without commissions. Since trading costs consist solely of low spreads, it is best suited for scalping, which involves frequent trades. While the spreads on the Pro Account are slightly wider than those on low-spread or zero-spread accounts (starting at 0 pips), there is no significant difference in the effective average spread when you factor in the absence of trading commissions. Please note that spreads are variable, so be sure to check the latest figures before trading.

Scalping is a trading strategy that involves executing trades over short time frames, ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes. Because traders repeatedly execute trades aiming for small pips, the profit from a single trade is small, but losses can also be kept to a minimum.
Exness Pro accounts are the only accounts on Exness where you can select “Instant Execution” as your order execution method (you can choose between Instant Execution and Market Execution when opening an account).Instant Execution is designed to minimize slippage because, as soon as Exness executes a trader’s order, it simultaneously routes the order to its liquidity providers. However, if a time lag occurs and the exchange rate fluctuates, the order may not be executed, and a requote—where a new price is quoted—will occur.Since it is up to the trader to decide whether to re-place the order at the quoted price, the order will not be executed at an unwanted price.
On the other hand, for account types other than Exness’s Pro accounts, Exness exclusively uses Market Execution, in which orders are sent to liquidity providers. While market execution is less prone to order rejections (re-quotes), it carries the risk of slippage, meaning trades may be executed at prices different from those intended. In scalping trades, which aim for small profits, even a slight deviation in the rate can lead to reduced profits or increased losses; therefore, the order execution method is a critical factor. If scalping is your primary trading strategy, we recommend the Pro Account, which uses Instant Execution; however, please select the account that best suits your trading style, taking into account trading costs and available instruments.

Slippage refers to a situation where the price fluctuates during the brief period between when a trader places an order and when it is executed, resulting in the order being filled at a price different from the one specified. With Exness’s Pro accounts, which offer the option to select Instant Execution, slippage rarely occurs even during periods of high price volatility. Since trades are executed at the price displayed on MT4/MT5, you can avoid the risk of incurring unexpected losses.
Among Exness’s Professional account types, the “Low Spread Account” and “Zero Account” incur external trading commissions. While these two account types have similar specifications, please note that they differ in terms of spreads and trading commissions.
Exness’s Low Spread and Zero accounts have different spread levels. While both are characterized by low spreads, the difference lies in the fact that the Low Spread account offers “ultra-low spreads,” whereas the Zero account offers “zero spreads on the top 30 instruments during 95% of the day.”

If you focus solely on spread conditions, the Zero Account may be more advantageous for certain securities, as it allows you to trade with a consistently “zero” spread. However, since the commission structures for the Low Spread Account and the Zero Account differ, you should make a comprehensive assessment that takes trading commissions into account. Please note that spreads are subject to change, so be sure to check the latest figures before trading.
Exness’s Low Spread and Zero accounts have different trading commissions. The trading commission per lot is a maximum of 3.5 USD (equivalent) per side for the Low Spread account and a minimum of 0.05 USD (equivalent) per side for the Zero account.
With a Low Spread Account, you can trade all FX currency pairs (excluding NZD/CHF), precious metals CFDs, and energy CFDs for a flat trading fee of 3.5 USD (or equivalent).Stock CFDs are commission-free, while stock index CFDs and cryptocurrency CFDs have fees that vary by instrument. Please note that trading fees for all instruments differ on the Zero Account, so please check the fees in advance before you begin trading.

Please note that Exness’s trading fees are set in USD (U.S. dollars). The actual fee amount deducted from your trading account will be converted into your account currency.
Exness’s Professional-type Low Spread, Zero, and Pro accounts all share the common feature of keeping spreads as low as possible, allowing you to trade at a low overall cost even when transaction fees are factored in.However, since these three account types have different characteristics in terms of fee structures, order execution methods, and tradable instruments, we recommend choosing the one that best suits your trading costs and trading style.
Exness’s Low Spread, Zero, and Pro accounts have different fee structures, which means there are differences in how trading costs are managed.Low-Spread accounts incur a trading commission of up to 3.5 USD (equivalent), but for all FX currency pairs (excluding NZD/CHF), precious metals CFDs, and energy CFDs, the commission is a flat rate of 3.5 USD.while all stock CFDs are commission-free. Since commission amounts are standardized by product category, you can avoid the hassle of checking commission fees for each individual trade. Additionally, since the Pro Account offers commission-free trading, you can focus solely on the spread when trading.
On the other hand, trading fees for Zero accounts start at a minimum of 0.05 USD (or equivalent) and vary depending on the instrument. For example, fees for FX currency pairs range from 3.5 to 137.5 USD, and fees for stock CFDs range from 0.38 to 54 USD; since fee amounts vary widely, you’ll need to check the trading fees for each transaction. In particular, if you plan to trade a variety of instruments, we recommend choosing an account that takes the complexity of cost management into account so that you can focus on your trading.
| Transaction Fees | Managing Transaction Costs | |
| Low-Spread Account | Trading fees up to 3.5 USD | Easy to manage with a fixed fee |
| Zero Account | Trading fees as low as 0.05 USD | Variable fees make management cumbersome |
| Pro Account | No Transaction Fees | Easy to manage using spreads alone |
| Low-Spread Account | |
| Transaction Fees | Trading fees up to 3.5 USD |
| Managing Transaction Costs | Easy to manage with a fixed fee |
| Zero Account | |
| Transaction Fees | Trading fees as low as 0.05 USD |
| Managing Transaction Costs | Variable fees make management cumbersome |
| Pro Account | |
| Transaction Fees | No Transaction Fees |
| Managing Transaction Costs | Easy to manage using spreads alone |
With Exness’s Professional account type, the account that offers the lowest trading costs depends on the instrument and the timing of the trade. For example, when trading EUR/USD (Euro/U.S. Dollar) in a Low Spread account or a Zero account, where a commission is charged, the average spread is zero, the round-trip commission is $7, and the total trading cost is $7, which equals 0.7 pips.On the other hand, while the spread on a Pro account is wider at 0.6 pips, there are no transaction fees, so the total trading cost is 0.6 pips. Therefore, for EUR/USD, the Pro account is the one that allows you to trade at the lowest cost.
However, unlike the Zero Account—which offers zero spreads on the top 30 stocks during 95% of the day—spreads on the Low Spread Account and Pro Account may widen; therefore, depending on the time of day, the Zero Account may be the best option for trading at the lowest cost.As such, because the account that allows you to trade at the lowest cost varies depending on the security and the timing of the trade due to fluctuations in spreads, we recommend that you check the spreads before trading.
Since Exness does not impose any trading restrictions, you can choose an account that best suits your trading style.Exness’s three Professional account types offer an ideal trading environment for scalping, featuring “low costs, stable low spreads, and high leverage of up to 2,000x” (*).In particular, the Pro account—which allows you to select Instant Execution, a method that eliminates slippage—is the recommended account type for traders who primarily engage in scalping.
On the other hand, for day trading and swing trading—where positions are held for longer periods—we recommend low-spread accounts or zero-spread accounts, which offer a stable, low-spread environment to help you avoid, as much as possible, a decline in your margin maintenance ratio due to spread fluctuations.
(*) Leveraged trading involves high risk, and you may lose all of your invested capital. Please ensure you fully understand the risks before trading.
Please note the following when trading with Exness’s Professional Low-Spread, Zero, and Pro accounts.
At Exness, the number of tradable instruments varies depending on the account type. Please also note that the available instruments differ depending on the trading platform—MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5).
Among the three Professional-type account types, the Pro Account offers the widest range of tradable instruments. With the Low Spread/Zero accounts, you cannot trade certain exotic currency pairs, CFDs on precious metals such as palladium and platinum, or stock index CFDs such as the Nikkei 225.

The names of instruments available on Exness’s Zero Account end with the suffix “z.” Only instruments with a “z” suffix—such as USDJPYz and EURUSDz—can be traded on the Zero Account. Please note that the suffix for Standard accounts is “m,” and for Standard Cent accounts, it is “c.” Only Low Spread and Pro accounts do not have a suffix, so if you are using both account types, please be careful not to mix up your trading accounts.
