Scalping is a trading strategy that involves executing trades over short time frames, ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes. Because traders repeatedly execute trades targeting small pips, the profit from a single trade is small, but losses can also be kept to a minimum.
Uses Instant Execution, which minimizes slippage
With an Exness Pro account, you can choose “Instant Execution” as your order execution method—the only account type at Exness that offers this option (select either Instant Execution or Market Execution when opening your account). With Instant Execution, Exness executes the trader’s order immediately and simultaneously routes the order to its liquidity providers, making it a system that minimizes slippage. However, if a time lag occurs and the exchange rate fluctuates, the order may not be executed, and a requote—where a new price is quoted—will occur.Since it is up to the trader to decide whether to re-place the order at the quoted price, the order will not be executed at an unwanted price.
On the other hand, for account types other than Exness’s Pro accounts, Exness exclusively uses Market Execution, in which orders are sent to liquidity providers. While market execution is less prone to order rejections (requotes), it carries the risk of slippage, which may result in trades being executed at prices different from those intended. In scalping trades, which aim for small profits, even a slight deviation in the exchange rate can lead to reduced profits or increased losses; therefore, the order execution method is a critical factor. If scalping is your primary trading strategy, we recommend the Pro Account, which uses Instant Execution; however, please select the account that best suits your trading style, taking into account trading costs and available instruments.

Slippage refers to a situation where the price fluctuates during the brief period between when a trader places an order and when it is executed, resulting in the order being filled at a price different from the one specified. With Exness’s Pro accounts, which offer the option to select Instant Execution, slippage occurs rarely even during periods of high price volatility. Since trades are executed at the price displayed on MT4/MT5, you can avoid the risk of incurring unexpected losses.

However, since the commission structures for the Low Spread Account and the Zero Account differ, you should make a comprehensive decision that takes trading commissions into account. Please note that spreads are subject to change, so be sure to check the latest figures before trading.
Trading fees vary
Exness’s Low Spread and Zero accounts have different trading fees. The trading fee per lot is a maximum of 3.5 USD (equivalent) per side for the Low Spread account and a minimum of 0.05 USD (equivalent) per side for the Zero account.
With a Low-Spread Account, you can trade all FX currency pairs (excluding NZD/CHF), precious metals CFDs, and energy CFDs for a flat trading fee of 3.5 USD (equivalent).Stock CFDs are commission-free, while stock index CFDs and cryptocurrency CFDs have fees that vary by instrument. How to Make the Most of Exness's Three Pro Account Types
Exness’s Professional-type Low Spread, Zero, and Pro accounts all share the common feature of keeping spreads as low as possible, allowing you to trade at a low overall cost even when transaction fees are factored in.However, since these three account types have different characteristics in terms of fee structures, order execution methods, and tradable instruments, we recommend choosing the one that best suits your trading costs and trading style.
Choose Based on How Transaction Costs Are Managed
Exness’s Low Spread, Zero, and Pro accounts have different fee structures, which means there are differences in how trading costs are managed.Low-Spread accounts incur a trading fee of up to 3.5 USD (or equivalent), but for all FX currency pairs (excluding NZD/CHF), precious metals CFDs, and energy CFDs, the fee is a flat rate of 3.5 USD.while all stock CFDs are commission-free. Since commission amounts are standardized by product category, you can avoid the hassle of checking commission fees for each individual trade. Additionally, since the Pro Account offers commission-free trading, you can focus solely on the spread when trading.
On the other hand, trading fees for the Zero Account start at a minimum of 0.05 USD (or equivalent) and vary depending on the instrument. For example, fees for FX currency pairs range from 3.5 to 137.5 USD, and fees for stock CFDs range from 0.38 to 54 USD; since fee amounts vary widely, you’ll need to check the trading fees for each transaction. In particular, if you plan to trade a variety of instruments, we recommend choosing an account that takes into account the complexity of cost management so that you can focus on your trading.

Choose an account that allows you to trade at the lowest possible cost
With Exness’s Professional account type, the account option that offers the lowest trading costs varies depending on the instrument and the timing of the trade. For example, when trading EUR/USD (Euro/U.S. Dollar) in a Low Spread account or a Zero account, where a commission is charged, the average spread is zero, the round-trip commission is $7, and the total trading cost is $7, which equals 0.7 pips.On the other hand, while the spread on the Pro account is wider at 0.6 pips, there are no transaction fees, so the total trading cost is 0.6 pips. Therefore, for EUR/USD, the Pro account is the one that allows you to trade at the lowest cost.
However, unlike the Zero Account—which offers zero spreads on the top 30 stocks during 95% of the day—spreads on the Low Spread Account and Pro Account may widen; therefore, depending on the time of day, the Zero Account may be the best option for trading at the lowest cost.As such, because the account that allows you to trade at the lowest cost varies depending on the security and the timing of the trade due to fluctuations in spreads, we recommend that you check the spreads before trading.
Choose Based on Your Trading Style
Since Exness does not impose any trading restrictions, you can choose an account that best suits your trading style.Exness’s three Professional account types offer an ideal trading environment for scalping, featuring “low costs, stable low spreads, and high leverage of up to 2,000:1” (*).In particular, the Pro account—which allows you to select “Instant Execution,” an order execution method that eliminates slippage—is the recommended account type for traders who primarily engage in scalping.
On the other hand, for day trading and swing trading—where positions are held for longer periods—we recommend low-spread accounts or zero-spread accounts, which offer a stable, low-spread environment designed to minimize the risk of a decline in the margin maintenance ratio due to spread fluctuations.
(*) Leveraged trading involves high risk, and you may lose all of your invested capital. Please ensure you fully understand the risks before trading.
