Swiss Franc on the Rise: Should We Keep an Eye on Its Upside Potential?

In the previous day’s U.S. currency trading, the U.S. dollar strengthened following the FOMC meeting, rising against the euro.The EUR/USD pair fell from 1.1720 to 1.1661, declining along the 20-period moving average (MA) on the hourly chart. On the 4-hour chart, the price broke below the 200-period exponential moving average (EMA), which had been acting as support, with a real body candle. On the daily chart, the price is in a phase of transitioning from above the 20-period MA to below it. On the weekly chart, the price has formed lower highs, failing to reach a new high and subsequently pulling back.
Among European currencies, the Swiss franc rose against the yen. The CHF/JPY pair rose from 201.751 to 202.909. On the hourly chart, the price moved from below the 20-period moving average (MA) to above it. On the 4-hour chart, the price is rebounding as the 200-period simple moving average (SMA) acts as a support level, and on the daily chart, it has recovered from below the 20-period MA—which it had temporarily broken below—to above it.
