Improved Leverage Terms '21
31.08.2021
At Exness, we are constantly striving to improve our trading conditions in order to provide our clients with the best possible service. This includes offering deep liquidity without impacting the market, reducing spreads and commissions, and lowering other trading costs such as swap fees.
The most recent change is the update to the leverage conditions, which took effect on August 30, 2021.
For more details on these helpful changes, please read below.
Variable Leverage Schedule
We have updated the margin requirements to maximize leverage. These updates apply to major currencies, minor currencies, gold, and silver.
| Available Margin (USD) | Maximum leverage available on MT4 and MT5 |
| 0 - 999 | 1: No limit |
| 0 - 4,999 | 1 : 2000 |
| 5,000 - 29,999 | 1 : 1000 |
| 30,000 or more | 1 : 500 |
Please note that to minimize risk, the required margin will remain at 1:200 prior to the release of major economic news.
You can also set custom leverage for financial products at any time in your Personal Area.
Index and Energy: Fixed Margin Requirements
We will also increase the leverage on the following financial products.
| Financial products | Fixed Leverage in MT4 and MT5 |
| Crude Oil (Brent) |
|
| Hong Kong Hang Seng Stock Price Index | |
| Australia's S&P/ASX 200 Index, Germany's DAX 30 Index, France's CAC 40 Index, Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average , the Euro Stoxx 50 Index, the UK's FTSE 100 Index, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500 Index, and the NASDAQ-100 Index |
Please note that the fixed margin requirements for exotic instruments, cryptocurrencies, and stocks will remain at their current levels.
I would like to emphasize that even if these margin requirements are low, you must determine your order size based on an appropriate risk management strategy regarding available margin.
We would also like to inform you that Exness does not charge swap fees or other rollover fees on most of the financial instruments listed.
In addition to stable and competitive spreads, this enables Exness to offer traders highly favorable trading conditions.
We hope you find this latest update helpful. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.
Thank you in advance.
